An afternoon event built on four things: Afrobeats and Amapiano from DJs who read the room, food from diaspora vendors, art from local makers, and a crowd that actually shows up. It starts in daylight and runs long. That is the "more than just a day party" part.

It depends on the city. Dallas day parties open doors at 5PM and run to about 9:30PM. Seattle day parties run 2PM to 6PM, so they finish before the evening. Exact times are on each event page.

Yes. Most day parties have a free RSVP tier, capacity permitting, if you arrive before the cutoff. In Dallas that is 6PM, in Seattle it is 3PM. Free RSVP is not a guaranteed entry, so if you are coming later or want to walk straight in, take a paid tier.

Early Bird is $10 and General Admission is $15, both guaranteed entry. Last Call is $20, and the door runs $25 to $35 depending on how late you arrive. VIP tables are $100 to $150 and include six tickets. Prices go up as tiers sell, so earlier is cheaper.

Curated Vibez has thrown day parties, brunches, art walks and pop-ups in Seattle, Dallas, Houston, Minneapolis, Los Angeles, Portland and New York. Seattle and Dallas run most often.

Yes. Food is part of the event, not an afterthought. Vendors are independent diaspora businesses, and the lineup changes by city and date. Jollof, suya and grilled plates are regulars.

Afrobeats and Amapiano lead, with hip hop and whatever the floor calls for. Sets come from a rotating roster of resident and guest DJs.
