Privacy policy
Effective September 1, 2026. The short version: we collect what you give us, we use it to run and promote our events, we never sell it, and below we say exactly who we do share it with.
What we collect
- Forms you submit: name, email, the details you include when you join the list, and, on the DJ and vendor applications, a phone number if you give one.
- Site analytics and advertising data: we use the Meta Pixel, which sets cookies and collects device and usage data so we can measure our ads and reach people likely to enjoy our events.
- Purchases: tickets and merch are processed by our partners (Bookt for tickets, Square for merch) under their own privacy policies. We receive order details, not your payment card.
- Phone numbers: given when you buy a ticket, or when you apply as a DJ or vendor. We use them to text you about our events. See the text messages section below.
How we use it
- To send event announcements, presale access, and updates you signed up for.
- To text you about upcoming events, if you gave us your number when you bought a ticket or applied to work with us.
- To send you the occasional email featuring a brand partner of one of our events. We write and send those ourselves, the usual unsubscribe link applies, and the partner never receives your contact details.
- To review and respond to DJ and vendor applications.
- To advertise our events, including building ad audiences with partners like Meta from information you share with us.
Text messages
If you gave us your phone number, we may text you about upcoming events: a date, a venue, and a link to tickets. Message frequency varies, usually two to four a month, and only around events in your city.
- Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving them. Reply HELP for help.
- Message and data rates may apply.
- We do not text you about anything other than our own events, and we do not give your number to a brand partner.
Sharing
We share data only with the services that run our business: Google (form storage), Meta (advertising), Bookt (ticketing), and Square (merch). We do not sell your personal information for money. We do use it for advertising: we upload contact information to Meta to build and match ad audiences, which some state privacy laws treat as "sharing" or "targeted advertising". Email us and we will exclude you.
Your choices
- Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out any time.
- Every marketing text can be stopped by replying STOP, or by emailing us and asking. We honor either.
- You can ask us to see or delete the information we hold about you by emailing info.curatedvibez@gmail.com.
- You can limit ad cookies through your browser settings and through Meta's ad preferences.
How long we keep it
We keep your contact details until you opt out. We remove phone numbers that have not bought a ticket or engaged with us in 24 months, and we delete DJ and vendor applications we did not act on after 24 months.
Age
Our events and this site are for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13, and we do not send marketing messages to anyone under 18.
Changes
We update this policy from time to time. The effective date above tells you when this version took effect. If we make a material change to how we use your information, we will say so by email or text before it takes effect. Ask us and we will send you any earlier version.
